Job Description

The Director, IIS Strategist will be an indispensable analytical and strategic partner to Elrexfio and ADCETRIS brand leadership, elevating the commercial strategy for both assets while identifying synergies that strengthen the broader Hematology portfolio. It is a role for a sharp, creative strategist who thrives at the intersection of data, story, and business impact.

You will serve as the connective tissue across analytics (IIS HEM, DSM, Data Science, PAI, PA) commercial teams and relevant CMO functions, synthesizing diverse inputs into clear, actionable direction for senior leaders. You will be a champion for precision brand strategy: cutting through complexity, focusing effort where it matters most, and helping the organization move faster and smarter.

Precision Brand Strategy

  • Act as a senior strategic thought partner to Elrexfio and ADCETRIS brand leads, framing critical business questions and translating them into clear, prioritized action.
  • Develop and champion a coherent strategic narrative for each brand, grounded in patient, HCP, and market insights, that drives alignment across commercial teams.
  • Lead structured strategic deep-dives on high-stakes business questions (e.g., competitive response, patient journey optimization, line-of-therapy dynamics, positioning evolution), delivering clear frameworks and concrete recommendations.
  • Apply a precision mindset: identify the 20% of work that drives 80% of value, simplify where complexity has accumulated, and focus team energy on what moves the needle.

Portfolio Integration & Value Creation

  • Identify and develop opportunities to unlock value across the Hematology portfolio, surfacing shared learnings, cross-brand synergies, and portfolio-level strategic imperatives for leadership.
  • Synthesize disparate work streams across analytics, insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data into integrated strategic narratives that are greater than the sum of their parts.
  • Build and lead regular portfolio-level reviews that connect brand performance to commercial strategy, ensuring cross-functional teams act on a shared, coherent picture.
  • Serve as a steward of the portfolio's long-range strategic direction, proactively identifying emerging risks and opportunities before they become urgent.

Innovation & Capability Building

  • Champion a culture of strategic innovation within the IIS team and across brand partners continuously seeking better frameworks, novel data sources, and smarter analytical approaches.
  • Pioneer the use of emerging tools and AI-powered capabilities to generate sharper insights, accelerate analysis, and elevate the quality of strategic recommendations.
  • Experiment boldly with new approaches to insight generation and storytelling and help scale what works across the Hematology team and broader IIS organization.

Insight Integration & Storytelling

  • Connect research and analytics to build compelling, persuasive strategic stories that drive action at the senior leadership level.
  • Integrate campaign, performance, and market insights to paint a complete picture of brand health, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
  • Evaluate promotional assets and marketing activities through the lens of customer insights, recommending optimizations that sharpen impact and improve customer experience.
  • Ensure the highest quality and timeliness of insight derivation with a relentless focus on actionability over volume.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Sciences, Statistics, Psychology, or related field required; MBA or MS preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oncology commercial brand strategy, analytics, management consulting, or related fields (7+ years with advanced degree).
  • Proven track record as a trusted strategic thought partner to senior brand leaders, with demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial analytics and insight disciplines, with a strong instinct for what matters and what does not.
  • Exceptional communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to simplify complexity and drive clarity for senior audiences.
  • A bias for action, a precision mindset, and a genuine drive to innovate in how strategy is built and delivered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or MS preferred.
  • Direct experience with Elrexfio (elranatamab), ADCETRIS (brentuximab vedotin), or other hematology/oncology brands.
  • Experience integrating multiple analytical inputs (RWD, primary research, secondary analytics, competitive intelligence) into unified strategic recommendations.
  • Track record of driving meaningful change through insight-led innovation, including use of AI tools to accelerate or improve strategic work.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capture portfolio-level value across multiple brands or disease areas.
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional commercial environments at a global or US scale

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
