Job Description

We’re searching for a Director of Respiratory & Clinical Support Services, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll provide 24-hour accountability for the clinical, administrative, and human resources activities of Respiratory Care and other clinical support services departments. You'll ensure the delivery of high quality, developmentally appropriate patient and family centered care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Provides 24-hour accountability for clinical, administrative, and HR activities across respiratory care and clinical support services
• Ensures delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care within a family-centered care environment
• Identifies and creates professional growth opportunities for leadership teams and staff
• Leads and participates in performance improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction
• Contributes to departmental budgeting, setting goals aligned with strategic initiatives
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with senior leadership, medical staff, and cross-functional teams while communicating key updates
• Supports and improves the departmental work environment and staff engagement
• Oversees development and implementation of clinical procedures and ensures appropriate staff competencies

Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in respiratory care Required
• RCP Licensed Respiratory Care, from the Texas Medical Board Required
• RRT CERT Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist, by the National Board for Respiratory Care Required
• BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association Preferred
• Experience in a managerial role (2 years) Required
• Neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory therapy (5 years) Required
