The Director, Human Resources provides strategic human resources support and direction to leaders of assigned areas and works closely with leaders and employees to provide a positive work environment characterized by high performance, progressive organizational change, continuous professional growth/development, open communication, and proactively supports the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services.

Experience

  • Minimum of ten years human resources experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support and direction to leaders of assigned areas on a variety of issues including but not limited to organizational design, engagement, retention and change management.
  • Partner with other HR Centers of Excellence to support leaders in recruitment, retention, recognition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to leaders on key people decisions and provide value-add intervention strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide continuous education and coaching to leaders and ensure leadership compliance with Human Resources processes, programs, policies, and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Partner with the HR leadership team and leaders of assigned areas to develop and effectively deliver employee communications.
