About the Job

  • Reporting to the VP, HRBP Commercial, this role serves as the HR Business Partner for Beyond Yoga. It provides both strategic advice as well as hands-on team support with day-to-day HR needs.
  • For retail, this role will support all stores as the Retail Fleet grows in the US. It will also support the entire employee life cycle, including new store openings and closures, store staffing models, incentive design, and general workforce management.
  • Drive the Beyond Yoga talent agenda through ensuing thoughtful assessment of talent, development of employees and succession planning
  • Collaborate with Executives and HR colleagues to assess organizational effectiveness and build the HR business plan supporting overall business strategy
  • Lead the implementation of HR business plan and delivery of all HR related programs and services
  • Foster a “performance" culture through effective coaching and implementation of performance management tools and processes
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of core HR programs and processes (annual performance review, engagement action planning, talent planning, workday transactions and reporting, succession planning, etc.)
  • Manage and execute HR core processes with each client group, tailoring communication and rolling out plans based on the size and needs of the team.
  • Partner in the Talent Acquisition process from recruitment through onboarding; encourage building strength through diversity and inclusion
  • Provides direct coaching and partnership to the business as needed to guide or identify strategies to increase employee engagement through communication, policies, and sharing of industry practices.
  • Build team effectiveness by designing and delivering small scale, organizational interventions specific to the unique requirements of the business unit
  • Support training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with Employee Relations and Employment Counsel as needed/required

About You

  • 7 + years' experience in Human Resources Generalist or HRBP role; Broad Generalist experience; experience in retail or apparel company
  • Experience in both start-up and established organizations
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to guide managers and leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention and the employee experience
  • High level of influence and ability to provide thought leadership with an enterprise mindset

This is a hybrid work schedule based in our Culver City, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $159,000 - $212,000 per year We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
