This role sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and program design. You will translate CARE’s complex humanitarian and development work into bespoke philanthropic investment opportunities that inspire seven- and eight-figure gifts. Serving as the intellectual bridge between technical experts and ambitious investors, you will distill dense data and theories of change into clear, donor-ready propositions that transform intricate concepts into urgent, human-centered narratives.
You will lead the narrative strategy for principal gifts, crafting customized, multi-year proposals and vision papers that demonstrate measurable ROI and intellectual rigor. Working closely with the Office of the President and Principal Gift fundraisers, you will provide the strategic materials needed to secure major commitments. Additionally, you will rapidly synthesize information on both sudden-onset crises and long-term development programs to keep sophisticated donors connected to the evolving impact of their investments.
