Ready to strengthen risk governance across Capital Markets and Advisory in Europe?
Why HSBC
HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Guided by our purpose of opening up a world of opportunity, our ambition is to become the world’s most trusted bank globally, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
As Director, Head of CMA Business Risk, Europe you’ll set the strategic direction for proactive management of non-financial and financial risks across Capital Markets and Advisory (CMA). This is a key role within the Global CMA Business Risk leadership team, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across CMA and Corporate and Institutional Banking in a highly regulated environment. You’ll take ownership of priority programmes of work ranging from uplifting controls and internal read-across to external trigger events and delivering regulatory change. Success means clear risk governance, proactive and timely escalation plus well-executed remediation that strengthens risk standards across the CMA product portfolio. You’ll also build capability across the team, raising knowledge, competency and skill while maintaining pace and quality under tight timelines.
