Overview

Crocs, Inc. is seeking a Director, Global Workforce Communications, to lead our internal communications strategy and execution across the organization.

This role will deliver communications that help employees understand company priorities, strengthen executive and leadership communications, support organizational changes, build employee connection, and improve communications across our global workforce.

The Director will partner closely with Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, Sustainability, Corporate Communications, and other key functions and business leaders to keep employees informed, connected, and aligned with Crocs, Inc.’s strategy, goals, and values. The Director will also lead communications planning and improvements to processes, tools, and channels, with particular attention to reaching employees across functions, regions, offices, retail stores, and distribution centers.

This is a hands-on leadership role for an exceptional writer and experienced leader who can move easily between communications strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience, and a track record of building and delivering effective communications programs in a complex, fast-paced, high-growth global organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Crocs, Inc.’s global internal communications strategy, ensuring messaging aligns with company goals, business priorities, and culture
  • Counsel executive leaders on communications for employee engagement, change management, organizational updates, and business transformation
  • Deliver global communications planning and governance processes, including the enterprise communications calendar and key editorial calendars
  • Lead communications for major enterprise initiatives across stakeholder groups including Human Resources, Information Technology, Global Marketing, Sustainability, Operations, Facilities, and other key functions
  • Create processes, deliver training, and manage communications planning for each priority stakeholder group
  • Write and deliver high-priority communications, including executive messages, presentations, announcements, scripts, and talking points
  • Strengthen leadership communications by developing messages, tools, and materials that help leaders communicate effectively with their teams
  • Support employees across brands, regions, offices, retail stores, distribution centers, and other work settings through relevant content and effective communications channels
  • Align workforce communications with external and employer-brand messaging, in support of our corporate reputation and recruiting efforts
  • Strengthen employee engagement through planning and execution of experiences and events that foster connection and enable a purpose-aligned corporate culture
  • Oversee internal communications channels and editorial strategy, including intranet content, leadership communications, digital signage, and employee events
  • Define metrics and measurement frameworks to evaluate communications effectiveness, identify opportunities, and improve engagement and effectiveness
  • Improve communications processes, tools and channels to deliver clear, accessible, and engaging content; including execution across events, newsletters, digital comms, and other touchpoints
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels to align on and execute key initiatives
  • Manage the workforce communications team, budget and external partners

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or a related field
  • At least 10+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, or related fields, including experience advising senior executives
  • 3+ years of experience leading communications professionals, cross-functional projects, agencies, or external partners
  • Proven success in developing and leading enterprise-wide communications strategies in complex, global organizations
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience personally developing executive messages, presentations, organizational announcements, change communications, and other relevant content grounded in strategy
  • Ability to move easily between strategy and execution, from setting direction and advising leaders to writing, editing, storytelling, planning, and delivering effective and strategic communications
  • Strong executive presence, business judgement and ability to advise senior leaders on risks, opportunities and high-visibility communications
  • Experience communicating with employees across different regions, brands, business units, and work settings
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using employee feedback, engagement data, and communications metrics to guide strategy, decisions and improve effectiveness
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing competing priorities and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups

Salary or Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
