About the role:

As Director Global Supply Chain Compliance, you will define and drive BioNTech's global supply chain compliance strategy across all sites while leading and developing the compliance team. You will play a central role in building robust processes that support our mission of advancing medicine worldwide.

Your contribution:

• Drive the enhancement of our supply chain compliance structures and standards to support our product launches.
• Set priorities, allocate resources and ensure alignment with quality and business objectives across all regions and act as the key interface to quality functions
• Define, harmonize, and implement global GxP and compliance standards, policies, and procedures across the product supply network
• Oversee deviations, change controls, validation activities, corrective actions, audit findings, and standard operating procedures using risk-based approaches
• Ensure continuous audit and inspection readiness for global supply chain processes; act as the key contact for quality assurance, auditors, and regulatory authorities
• Drive timely remediation measures and improvement initiatives to maintain high compliance standards
• Collaborate with internal functions and key suppliers to ensure compliant material qualification, effective quality agreements, and robust end-to-end supply chain processes

A good match:

• Academic degree in scientific studies, engineering oder related fields with extensive professional experience (+ 10 years) in global supply chain / logistics and/or compliance / quality roles within pharmaceutical/biotech or other regulated industries
• Experience in oversee GxP deviations, change controls, CAPA measures, inspection and audit findings in the GMP/GDP area
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical / biotech or other regulated environments
• Strong logistics expertise combined with conceptual thinking and a structured mindset
• Proven ability to lead teams effectively while managing resources to achieve organizational goals
• Strong leadership experience in managing complex international projects with senior-level stakeholder engagement
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration (e.g. Quality, MS&T, manufacturing, procurement)
• Fluent Englisch, German is a plus
