ROLE SUMMARY

This is a hands-on position focused on translating complex, loosely defined business challenges into scalable, measurable digital, data, and AI-enabled solutions. You will support GH&B’s integrated manufacturing and commercial model by identifying high-value opportunities, shaping digital investments, developing value hypotheses, and using journey mapping, workflow design, rapid prototyping, and AI/agentic solution design to move ideas toward enterprise-ready delivery. With broad influence across GH&B, Digital, Finance, and enterprise forums, you will help define ownership, delivery standards, and build paths for cross-domain solutions, while evolving over time from hands-on discovery and prototyping toward opportunity curation, product direction, and integration into enterprise delivery channels.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Turn business requests into framed problems, measurable outcomes, and value hypotheses, working with GH&B business leaders and Finance to build the case for each opportunity. The business owns the ranking decision and the funding for build, scale, and run.
• Build low fidelity prototypes, journey maps, and workflow concepts that let stakeholders judge a solution before committing engineering investment, and carry each concept through to a state ready for implementation.
• Translate GH&B business problems into AI and agentic solution designs, and document GH&B-specific context, decisions, and rationale so it can be used by colleagues and by AI agents on enterprise platforms
• Route demand to the correct build path against enterprise standards. Prompts, skills and lightweight applications are built by business colleagues and agents to GH&B Digital standards. GH&B Digital takes accountability for building, scaling and maintaining enterprise grade solutions until they are moved to an existing domain or platformed.
• Maintain the register of what GH&B Digital builds: named owner, expected value, and retirement trigger, until enterprise lifecycle governance covers GH&B. Recommend retirement of assets that stop earning their cost.
• Direct contractor solutions engineering capacity on scope, acceptance criteria and delivery standards, and set the expectation that what is built conforms to enterprise agent and data platform practice rather than becoming rework.
• Represent GH&B Digital independently with senior business and Digital stakeholders, and in enterprise digital and demand forums.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8+ years experience in product management, digital solution delivery, transformation or strategy consulting, including experience owning outcomes from problem framing through delivery
• Related Masters degree and 7+ years experience in product management, digital solution delivery, transformation or strategy consulting, including experience owning outcomes from problem framing through delivery
• Experience turning an ambiguous business ask into a framed problem, a value hypothesis and a testable prototype.
• Hands-on experience building working prototypes with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or low code/AI-assisted tools
• Track record of influencing senior business and technology stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience managing the work of contractors
• Experience directing external delivery partners, contractors or engineering vendors.
• Experience operating in a large, matrixed organization with distributed ownership.
• Applied working knowledge of AI concepts, including where agentic approaches are and are not appropriate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience across both commercial and manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Experience in a newly formed team, a startup, or a business unit standing up a new function.
• Experience with enterprise demand intake, portfolio governance or value case standards.
• Working knowledge of data products, data contracts, or analytics delivery.
• Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience.

• Must be able to travel to Pfizer offices, vendor offices and other team meeting locations when required.
• Project work can sometimes be demanding and require work during off-hours.
• Must be available for regular meetings with EU and US based stakeholders.

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid-- Must be able to work in assigned Pfizer office an average of 2.5 days per week, or as needed by the business.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,900.00 to $271,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
