Lead a globally strategic procurement function from Greenwood, SC, driving sourcing excellence and enabling new business opportunities across Lonza’s Dosage Form Solutions network. What you will do:

  • Lead the global DFS Direct Materials portfolio, driving sourcing strategies that enable business growth, quality improvements, and cost advantages.
  • Partner with senior business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement with business priorities and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and execute category strategies based on deep understanding of supply markets, cost drivers, and demand trends.
  • Drive sourcing, tendering, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management to deliver measurable procurement value and margin improvement.
  • Ensure supply continuity by identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and coordinating responses to critical supply challenges.
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including governance models, performance reviews, and innovation partnerships.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global procurement team, fostering collaboration, capability building, and talent development.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience (10+ years) in procurement within Pharma, Health & Nutrition.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with experience managing teams in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Proven expertise in category management and strategic sourcing.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management, including performance governance and development.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities across complex, global spend categories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
