The Director, Global CAPEX Strategy & Executionwillbe responsible fordirectional oversight of all large capex investments and managingCapsugel’sglobal CAPEX portfolio.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge of the platform, project management skills, and commercial/financialexpertise The role would report into the Vice President Operations and belocatedat the Colmar site.
Additionally, the ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

The full-time annual base pay for this position in France is expected to range between85’000EUR and123’900EUR.Initialsalary placement within this range will bedeterminedbased on role‑related actors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.
What you will do:
Work closely with sites,financeand relevant functions to develop and manage long term CAPEX relevant strategic initiatives
Lead large CAPEX projects through the Concept Phase, ensuring strong alignment with key functions before transitioning project leadership to the site project engineering teams. Continue as a steering team member and provide directional oversite to the E2E leader and/or project manager through project execution.
Manage the budgetallocatedforCapsugeland coordination of CAPEX plan development and CAPEX approvals. This includes the governance of monthlyalignment with the LT for upcoming investments and overall division spending. FollowupwithsiteCAPEXmanagersandsitecontrollers
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders around large CAPEX investments. Provide regular updates to management and collaborate with internal partners.
Execute governance around the CAPEX approval process and develop required reporting documentation; steering committee meetings, Capital Approval Committee meetings, approval presentations, approval documents, etc. to ensure continuity across the organization
What we are looking for:
University degree in Engineering with Finance/Economics knowledge
Experience coordinatingandleading significant CAPEX or strategic investment projects
Comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
Strong experience reviewing business cases and contributing to new business models or approaches thatleverageexisting and new assets
Proventrack recordof driving projects to completion and overcoming obstacles to achieve successful outcomes
Strategic and collaborative leader withstrong communicationskills, capable of influencing stakeholders and building trust across global teams.
Results-driven professional with a proven ability to lead complex projects, navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver successful outcomes.
Availability to travel within the networkup to 25% of the time
