Job Description Summary:

The Franchise Director Uzbekistan is responsible for leading the integrated franchise agenda for Uzbekistan, ensuring the translation of business strategies into actionable plans, routines, and execution excellence. The role serves as the key integrator across bottler, commercial, and functional teams, driving sustainable business growth, franchise performance, and long-term system capabilities.

As the primary franchise leader in-country, the role orchestrates planning, execution, business development initiatives, and system alignment while acting as the key commercial counterpart to the bottler organization and connecting OU (Operating Unit) priorities to local market realities.

Function Related Activities / Key Responsibilities

Franchise Performance & Market Leadership

  • Lead the integrated franchise performance agenda for Uzbekistan, building a holistic view of business performance across volume, revenue, profitability, market share, execution, and strategic priorities.
  • Develop dashboards and performance reviews that translate leadership direction into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive in-country franchise performance reviews and recommend corrective actions and BP+ opportunities.
  • Aggregate and interpret commercial, bottler, customer, and functional insights to identify opportunities, risks, and growth priorities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive activity, regulatory developments, and consumer trends, translating insights into business actions.

Annual Business Planning & Long-Term Growth

  • Integrate all franchise workstreams into a unified Annual Business Plan (ABP), ensuring resources, investments, priorities, and KBIs are aligned.
  • Lead franchise inputs into Long Range Planning (LRP), identifying long-term opportunities across portfolio, RTM, execution, RGM, and capability building.
  • Ensure business plans remain agile through ongoing performance tracking, scenario planning, and recommendation of business adjustments.
  • Coordinate planning processes across bottler and internal stakeholders to create integrated and executable business roadmaps.

Commercial Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify incremental revenue opportunities by brand, category, channel, customer, package, geography, and consumption occasion.
  • Partner with bottler and commercial teams to develop business-building initiatives and customer growth opportunities.
  • Support implementation of Revenue Growth Management initiatives, including pricing, packaging, affordability, and premiumization strategies.
  • Partner with customer teams to ensure commercial strategies are converted into sustainable business results.

System Projects & Capability Building

  • Own the in-country franchise system roadmap, designing and sequencing strategic initiatives across Portfolio, Innovation, Execution, Route-to-Market, and Revenue Growth Management.
  • Act as a key driver of system capability development and business transformation initiatives.
  • Lead commercial enablement projects, including sales tools, RTM redesign, digital solutions, and execution improvement initiatives.
  • Support implementation of major system projects that strengthen long-term competitiveness and operational effectiveness.

Execution Excellence

  • Orchestrate execution across functions and partners, ensuring campaigns, initiatives, and strategic priorities are delivered successfully.
  • Lead joint operating routines with bottler and functional teams to ensure accountability and execution consistency.
  • Translate License to Win requirements into clear operational standards and execution routines.
  • Drive implementation of consumer, shopper, and commercial plans with clear pictures of success and measurable outcomes.

System Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary counterpart to the bottler commercial leadership team and lead governance routines related to franchise priorities.
  • Protect and advance the country business plan through strong collaboration and influence across stakeholders.
  • Connect Operating Unit priorities, frameworks, and playbooks to local execution while sharing market learning and best practices.
  • Lead implementation and adoption of enterprise initiatives, ensuring tools and capabilities are effectively embedded into business routines.
  • Collaborate closely with PACS, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial, and Digital teams to ensure alignment against business objectives.

People Leadership

  • Set objectives and review performance for franchise team members and key commercial stakeholders as applicable.
  • Design development plans, succession opportunities, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Establish effective governance, decision-making processes, and operating rhythms within the franchise team.
  • Role model The Coca-Cola Company values and foster a collaborative, one-team culture across the system.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial, Franchise, Marketing, General Management, Operations, or related business functions.
  • Strong knowledge of customer management, channel strategy, execution, shopper marketing, and commercial planning.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.
  • Experience working with bottlers, business partners, and senior leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated success in business planning, performance management, and growth delivery.

  • Ability to work effectively across a highly networked organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize complex challenges into practical business recommendations and action plans.
