Create your best future and join Westpac as a Director, Financial Institutions & Government
What’s the role?
As Director, Financial Institutions & Government, you’ll build and grow relationships with banks, non-bank financial institutions, payment service providers and trusts. You’ll develop strong connections across treasury, funding, payments and risk teams, understanding your clients’ priorities and identifying opportunities to support their evolving needs.
Working across Westpac Institutional Bank, you’ll bring together specialists to develop solutions spanning transaction banking, payments, deposits, liquidity, securitisation, debt capital markets, private markets and risk management. You’ll also stay connected to emerging opportunities across digital assets and new payment infrastructure.
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic clients, originate new opportunities and use your commercial judgement to deliver solutions while maintaining a disciplined approach to credit and non-financial risk.
This is a permanent, Sydney-based role, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
What do I need?
You’ll bring strong financial institutions experience, commercial judgement and relationship-building capability, with the confidence to connect clients to solutions across Westpac.
