• Leads large and/or complex finance projects and monitors outcomes against set objectives • Provides sound expert advice and insights to carry out regular financial risk assessments and diligent execution of controls and mitigations, proactively raising any concerns • Ensures coaching, training and upskilling of Finance Professionals • Participates in cross-functional projects and initiatives as a financial subject matter expert • Anticipates business trends, assess risks and recommend solutions and contingency plans to ensure meeting financial and business objectives • Leads on robust financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance support strategic decision making • Communicates complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance stakeholders Grade Descriptor • Recognized as an expert within the company and requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines relevant to the business area • Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business • Contributes to the development of sub-functional/area strategy • Provides regular consultation and advice to peers and executives • Availability of jobs at this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements • Impacts strategic direction and resource allocation of an organization function, region or business segments; contributes to ideas that influence change and impact decisions and policy matters for the organization function/business segment • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior management levels, to adopt recommendations/decisions that impact the organization function
