This role focuses on expanding the Value-Added Reseller channel with system integrators and defense industrial base suppliers, advancing Spectrum’s portfolio across the federal sector. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth through a multi-channel distribution model
  • Lead and mentor a national team of Federal VAR channel managers supporting system integrators and defense industrial base customers
  • Achieve federal VAR revenue targets and objectives, ensuring successful sales execution for Spectrum’s product portfolio
  • Build channel awareness and promote the value proposition of Spectrum’s enterprise product solutions
  • Facilitate and manage sales enablement and training plans, equipping partners to effectively position products and meet revenue goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams like marketing, order management and finance to deliver sales tools and processes for an exceptional partner experience
  • Take ownership of financial accountability for revenue and expense budgets

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience working with VARs and integrators to build strategic programs that drive demand and sales
  • 5+ years of leadership experience

Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Visionary thinking and strategic planning skills, with creativity and long-term perspective
  • Ability to lead large change initiatives
  • Ability to anticipate future trends, needs and expectations, using proactive problem-solving and foresight
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal teams
  • Ability to recruit new VAR customers, showcasing persuasive communication and networking abilities
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue goals
  • Strong technical skills
  • Familiarity with the federal VAR market, including federal systems integrators and defense industrial base suppliers
  • Ability to align systems, programs and people with company strategy
  • Ability to analyze data and develop and present data driven reports

The base pay for this position generally is between $127,000.00 and $225,100.00 The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $72,000
