Job Description

The Director of Facilities Management - Hard Services at Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) will lead the strategic and operational management of all hard services across Qiddiya’s diverse portfolio of assets. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, engineering, reliability, and compliance of critical building systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and sustainability aligned with QIC’s vision for developing a world-class destination city.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance strategies for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, managing the hard services teams, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, coordinating with contractors and vendors, optimizing asset lifecycle management, and contributing to the successful handover and operation of new developments within Qiddiya.

The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including soft services, asset management, and project delivery to ensure integrated facilities management that supports exceptional guest and staff experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in facilities hard services management, preferably within large-scale mixed-use, entertainment, or leisure developments.
• Proven track record in managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems maintenance and operations.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Experience managing third-party service providers and contractors.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to facilities management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred.
