Your role will involve:
As a Director within Europe Wayfinders, you will be at the forefront of a dynamic growth journey during Wayfinders’ foundational phase – translating strategic ambition into tangible impact.
You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth for the Wayfinders practice, cultivating your existing and new client relationships, and winning and delivering consulting engagements – with a particular focus on opportunity expansion in the Manufacturing vertical and Operations horizontal.
You will collaborate with Consulting Partners and Directors to build credibility, momentum, and market presence, and will be targeted to unlock new revenue and business development opportunities.
In delivery, you will lead large-scale, complex engagements, delivering measurable outcomes for clients while mentoring high-performing consulting teams.
With a strong consultancy background and expertise in areas such as Smart Factory/Warehouse, Digital Twins, Robotic Automation, Additive/3D Manufacturing, Connected Supply Chains, Digital Product Passport or Workforce Augmentation, you’ll help shape our go-to-market strategy, develop scalable offerings, and position Wayfinders as a trusted advisor for strategic operations transformation.
This role offers the opportunity to combine entrepreneurial energy with leadership impact and to help accelerate Wayfinders’ growth in Europe.
As a Director, you will be responsible for:
Business Development
Identifying growth opportunities and developing strategic initiatives to expand Wayfinders market presence and revenue streams.
Leading the creation of compelling proposals and client presentations, resulting in Wayfinders consulting revenue, either standalone or as part of a joint engagement with Europe Region.
Identifying follow-on opportunities and supporting pipeline growth across key accounts.
Contributing to marketing initiatives and the creation of compelling points of view.
Client delivery & leadership
Leading large or complex, multi-disciplinary consulting engagements.
Providing strategic oversight, ensuring quality deliverables, and alignment with client expectations.
Building and sustaining trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Advising clients on strategic transformation initiatives and technology adoption.
Practice development
Partnering with leadership to shape and grow our business, including go-to-market strategy, service offerings, thought-leadership, and consulting methodologies.
Collaborating across Fujitsu to integrate capabilities and deliver compelling consulting services.
Mentoring and developing consultants, fostering a high-performance, inclusive team culture.
Supporting the development of thought leadership, innovation, and internal capability.
Your transferable skills and experience:
Experience at Director level in a tier-one consultancy or equivalent role in an advisory practice within a tier-one Services or Solutions company – evidencing hands-on leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder consulting engagements.
A track record of originating high value advisory consulting engagements, including the ability to lead proposal development that results in measurable revenue growth.
Sector expertise and consulting relationships in manufacturing and one or more of automotive, defence, paper & pulp, mining, steel, logistics, energy & utilities.
Experience shaping strategic initiatives and go-to-market offerings in areas such as Smart Factory/Warehouse, Digital Twins, Robotic Automation, Additive/3D Manufacturing, Connected Supply Chains, Digital Product Passport or Workforce Augmentation.
Advanced stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a history of building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and navigating complex organisational dynamics.
Collaborative mindset with an ability to lead, develop and inspire diverse teams.
