Currently we are looking for Director, EUIT – Product Management responsible forguiding the success and delivery of strategic technology products, from conception to operation.

The role creates a compelling product vision and drives business value.This position bridges technology, business, and user experience, blending a product-focused approach with agile methods to consistently deliver value and ensure that technology strategies match businessobjectives

This role oversees product vision and execution, while promoting collaboration, innovation, and ongoing improvement as a leader, facilitator, and coach.

You'llwork in Enabling Units IT, in our Finance capability.It’san exciting time to join us, as we set out on our journey to provide the “Best IT for the BioPharma Industry”.Our goal is to position IT as astrategic-enablerand we do this by focusing on close business partnership,definingand executing business-aligned strategies, and finding and developing the best IT talent in the industry. You will be leading/contributing to business analysis on strategic projects that help our Finance teams.You will collaborate directly with the AZ Business stakeholders who are working in those functions, our business relationship managers and the technology teams crafting and delivering our enabling technology.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Work closely with stakeholders to develop, articulate, and share the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, making sure all teams including engineering, design, and business - are aligned.
  • Serves as the primary product orchestrator andis responsible fordriving product innovation and ensuring“value”delivery.
  • Develops product-focused delivery teams and adopts agile methodologies to continually enhance the product through iterative improvements
  • Manage the product backlog, translate business needs into detailed requirements, and prioritize features based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility.
  • Financial Accountability: Be accountable forProductfinance, including forecasting, budget management, andtimelyaccruals.
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)including measuring both value and outcomes (as desired with investment case).
  • Act as the primary point of contact betweenbusiness leaders and engineering/technical teams Lead vendor management, including negotiation of deliverables, acceptance criteria, and costs.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Proactivelyidentify, assess, and mitigate risks (technical, market, project) and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g.,GxP, if applicable).

Requirements

  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders and Build IT Product vision and roadmaps.
  • Extensive experience leading the delivery of medium to large-scale ITProducts andprograms (USD 5M+ or teams >15).
  • Proven accountability for ITProductfinance, including forecasting andtimelyaccruals.
  • Hands on, practical experience both in leading product teams and inutilizingmodern tools and methodologies such as Agile.
  • Strong product-centric mindset with experience managing the product lifecycle (e.g.,Concept to DevOps, backlog prioritization, KPI analysis).
  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or quality domains (GxP, MES, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with experience engaging C-level executives.
  • Strong vendor management capabilities.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to use data and user feedback to make decisions.
  • User Empathy: A customer-centric mindset.
