How you’ll contribute

We’re seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead ED operations, build strong teams, advance quality and safety, and help shape emergency care across our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for a busy Emergency Department.
  • Drive safety, quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop nursing leaders and frontline staff.
  • Oversee staffing, recruitment, employee development, and performance management.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead evidence-based practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
  • Partner with physicians, leaders, EMS, and care teams to improve care and throughput.
  • Promote teamwork, excellence, and patient-centered care.

  • 4:1 Ratio
  • 25 Beds, 2 Bays

Qualifications and requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; BSN preferred.
  • Experience: At least five years of healthcare leadership experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state licensure required for clinical professionals; healthcare administration or emergency management certification preferred.
  • Skills: Leadership, strategic vision, financial management, operational efficiency, and commitment to quality and patient safety.
