Position Overview:

As part of the talented Global Sales team, you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative, data-driven sales strategies to exceed revenue targets and expand Navico Group’s footprint across primarily Marine markets with ancillary focus on Mobile & Industrial markets in the EMEA region. With oversight of a $260M+ revenue portfolio, you will lead a high-performing, region-wide sales organisation, driving commercial excellence and operational efficiency. This role holder is a visionary leader who can forge and nurture relationships with senior and C-level executives, align cross-functional teams, and translate market insights into actionable strategies that position Navico Group as a category leader.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

• Own the overall commercial strategy for the EMEA region, ensuring sales plans support both short-term revenue objectives and long-term market expansion goals across the primarily Marine segment with ancillary focus on the Mobile and Industrial segments.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, customer needs, competitive threats, and industry trends, translating these insights into actionable growth strategies and investment priorities.

Revenue, Profitability & Commercial Performance

• Maintain full accountability for regional revenue performance, ensuring the organization consistently meets or exceeds sales and profitability targets.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation activities to maximize return on investment and drive sustainable business growth.
• Drive a culture of commercial discipline by focusing on profitable growth, pricing strategy, margin management, and strategic account development.

Customer & Key Account Leadership

• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with major OEMs, distributors, strategic partners, and key accounts throughout the EMEA region.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business objectives, operational challenges, and future needs, positioning Navico Group as a long-term strategic partner.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations involving significant revenue opportunities, multi-year agreements, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee the entire customer lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition from sales acquisition through implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Sales Excellence & Operational Management

• Design and implement scalable sales processes that improve productivity, forecast accuracy, pipeline visibility, and overall sales effectiveness.
• Continuously evaluate organizational performance and implement best practices that improve customer engagement, sales efficiency, and business results.

Cross-Functional Business Leadership

• Partner closely with Business Development Directors, Product Management, Category Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations teams to create integrated business strategies.
• Provide market feedback and customer insights that influence product development priorities, innovation roadmaps, and go-to-market activities.
• Support successful product launches by aligning commercial strategy, customer expectations, inventory planning, and promotional activities.

Global Influence & Executive Partnership

• Represent EMEA within global sales leadership forums and contribute to enterprise-wide commercial planning and decision-making.
• Ensure regional business priorities are effectively communicated to global leadership teams and reflected in broader company strategies.

Leadership & Culture

• Build and develop a high performing, inclusive sales organization across diverse markets.
• Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer obsession.
• Act as an enterprise leader, partnering with HR, strengthening cross functional connections and driving transformation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in B2B or enterprise sales, ideally within OEM or industrial markets.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L and driving profitability.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data analytics tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the EMEA region.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent).
• Experience in the Marine, Mobile, or Industrial sectors.
• Proven success operating in global, matrixed organisations, with the ability to lead across geographies, cultures, and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong international business acumen, with experience navigating global commercial environments and balancing regional market needs with enterprise-wide priorities.
• English language is a core requirement, but other EMEA multilingual capabilities are a bonus
• Deep understanding of EMEA market dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory environments, coupled with an appreciation for broader global business trends and cross-regional collaboration.

Working Conditions:

• This role could be based at any of the Navico Group locations across EMEA, with regular collaboration across regions and global stakeholder groups.
• Office environment; hybrid schedule when not with customers or travelling.

The hiring range for this position will align with local market compensation practices and local benefits. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with company policies, and a range of competitive benefits.
