Brookfield Culture

Brookfield has a unique and dynamic culture. We seek team members who have a long-term focus and whose values align with our Attributes of a Brookfield Leader: Entrepreneurial, Collaborative and Disciplined. Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.

Brookfield is seeking a Director, Digital Marketing Operations to own and operationalize the firm's digital marketing technology stack — the platforms, vendors, and infrastructure behind our global website, global digital marketing tools, and analytics environment. This role is responsible for making sure our digital infrastructure works reliably, on schedule, and in a way that reflects well on the firm.

This is a senior operating role for an entrepreneurial, technically fluent digital professional who can design and implement strategy across core MarTech platforms, partner with Technology on roadmaps and sprint planning, and bring the same rigor to vendor accountability that they bring to their own work.

This role reports to the Managing Director, Communications & Brand, and works closely with Legal, Technology, Marketing, and outside agencies and vendors. It offers significant visibility with senior leadership and room to shape how Brookfield's digital operations scale globally.

Select Responsibilities

Digital platform strategy and vendor management

  • Build and implement end-to-end strategy across the firm's core marketing technology platforms including contracting, renewals, SLAs, and performance accountability for every vendor in the stack.

  • Partner with the Technology team to manage and maintain platform roadmaps, define requirements, as well as run quarterly priorities, sprint planning, and digital product launches.

  • Lead commercial negotiations for new and renewing vendor contracts; identify opportunities to consolidate, renegotiate, or exit underperforming vendor relationships.

  • Hold digital vendors and agency partners to the same bar we hold ourselves: clear briefs, real deadlines, and evidence-based performance reviews, not just relationship management.

  • Research the marketing technology landscape on an ongoing basis and bring forward recommendations on where the firm should invest, consolidate, or change course.

Digital and website operations

  • Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new digital products, features, and capabilities, and scope new feature requests for prioritization.

  • Manage workflow meetings for cross-functional digital projects and ensure comprehensive intake and alignment across design, content, and technology partners.

  • Partner with design and UX teams to ensure web wireframes, content architecture, and the overall brand experience stay consistent across our public-facing digital properties.

  • Oversee stakeholder feedback and review cycles, including user acceptance testing, for new digital products and platform enhancements.

  • Own the measurement strategy for digital products and platform investments to ensure the right tracking is in place; lead retrospectives after major launches and disseminate what was learned.

Program & project management

  • Serve as the project management backbone of major digital initiatives spanning multiple vendors, agencies, and internal teams — tracking to realistic project plans, noting dependencies, and keeping every workstream on time and on budget.

  • Build and steward clear intake, prioritization, and status-reporting processes so leadership always knows what's in flight, what's at risk, and what decisions are needed from them — and when.

  • Anticipate issues early, bring solutions to stakeholders, and keep initiatives moving.

Cross-functional and executive partnership

  • Partner closely with Legal, Technology, Marketing, Investor Relations, Talent Acquisition and other regional teams to ensure digital operations decisions reflect business, compliance, and brand priorities.

  • Communicate progress on digital products, platform launches, and vendor performance clearly and credibly to senior stakeholders — comfortable operating with executive presence in rooms where decisions get made.

  • Set the standard of excellence for how digital operations gets done at Brookfield, and hold internal teams and external partners proactively accountable to it.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, marketing technology, or digital product/project management, ideally within financial services, professional services, or another highly regulated industry.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms in a B2B capacity.

  • Experience with website content management systems and website analytics platforms.

  • Demonstrated track record negotiating and managing vendor and agency contracts, budgets, and SLAs at a senior level.

  • Experience working in software project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Jira, etc.) and familiarity with common software design and development processes, including translating business needs into concrete technology requirements for engineering teams.

  • Executive-level communication skills; able to distill technical or operational detail into clear recommendations for senior and executive audiences, both in writing and in person; experience presenting digital concepts to senior stakeholders.

  • An operator who demands excellence of themselves and others, holds a high bar proactively rather than reactively, and takes ownership beyond the defined scope of the role.

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage priorities across multiple concurrent project plans, prioritize under ambiguity, and adapt quickly to shifting business needs.

  • Sound judgment on when to escalate versus resolve independently, and comfort holding both internal teams and outside vendors accountable to deadlines and quality standards.

  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal), SharePoint, and marketing tools required.

Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000
