Job Description

About Our Company:Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Cologix is a leading North America network-neutral interconnection and hyperscale edge data center company. Our platform gives customers access to 45+ digital edge and Scalelogix℠ hyperscale edge data centers in 13 markets across the United States and Canada along with a carrier-dense ecosystem of 710+ networks, 360+ cloud providers, 35+ onramps and seven Internet exchanges. We provide our nearly 2,000 customers with direct access to our local operations teams, resulting in strong partnerships enabled by exceptional operational support and unparalleled customer service. Backed by one of the largest North American infrastructure funds, Cologix's experienced leadership team, certified staff and commitment to ESG initiatives help form a culture that values our people, our environment and our clients.

Cologix is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Digital Marketing to lead and execute our digital strategy across North America. This role owns digital performance end-to-end—strategy, execution, optimization and reporting for data center solutions for enterprises, hyperscalers and service providers

This is a player-coach position. With a lean team structure, this leader will both set direction and directly contribute across key channels including website optimization, paid media, search, content, social and blog. This role will manage a demand center operations resource and multiple vendors.

The Director will drive measurable pipeline impact, strengthen brand authority and ensure digital marketing functions as a scalable growth engine aligned with revenue objectives.

Core Responsibilities

    • Translate company priorities into clear digital channel plans

    • Hands-On Digital Channel Execution and Optimization
      • AI-powered search optimization and AEO implementation
      • SEO strategy and on-page optimization
      • Paid media oversight and optimization (Google Ads, LinkedIn, display, 6sense alignment)
      • Digital launch coordination
      • A/B testing and conversion optimization initiatives
      • Execution may be supported by an agency and internal team members, but this role remains actively involved in build, review, optimization and performance improvement.
      • Website Strategy and Management
        • Own website roadmap, UX improvements and conversion optimization strategy
        • Coordinate with agency partner on enhancements and updates
        • Lead experimentation initiatives to improve conversion performance
        • Ensure the website functions as a demand-generation engine, not just a publishing platform
        • Partner with content team to ensure website is optimized for customer journeys and conversation
        • Ensure content on website is updated as needed
        • Social Leadership and Content
          • Provide social media strategy and performance; ensure day-to-day execution is effective. Manage all social accounts.
          • Publish social media content in alignment with editorial calendar
          • Oversee blog platform and content alignment across campaigns, social and blog
          • Shift focus from volume-based posting to high-impact visibility and authority
          • Guide and elevate the performance of our social accounts
          • Team and Vendor Leadership
            • Lead and develop the Marketing Operations Senior Manager
            • Ensure clear role delineation to maximize efficiency
            • Manage digital vendors and technology platforms (HubSpot, analytics, advertising platforms, etc.)
            • Continuously evaluate tools and AI applications that improve scale and impact

Experience and Profile/Qualifications

    • 8+ years of B2B digital marketing experience
