About the Role
This unique roleowns how digital work gets done across BMO Global Asset Management.
This is a digitalfirst leadership role accountable for day-to-day execution, workflow ownership, and delivery outcomes across GAM’s digital ecosystem. The role exists to ensure digital initiatives move from intake to execution to publication efficiently, consistently, and compliantly.
This is not a Product Owner or Business Analyst role.
It is a hands-on digital operations leadership role with accountability for people, process, and delivery results.
WhatYou’llBe Accountable For
Digital Operations & Workflow Ownership
Own the end-to-end digital operating model across GAM, including intake, prioritization, workflow, approvals, publishing, and postdelivery followthrough.
Key Understanding of digital infrastructureand howwork flows across CMS,Mar Techstacks and dataanalyticsplatforms, vendors, and internal teams.
Establish and enforce clear ways of working, service levels, and deliverygovernance
Ensure digital work is delivered with speed, quality, and regulatory confidence.
People Leadership
Lead,hirecoach, and performancemanage a team of digital operations specialists and publishers.
Provide clear direction, prioritization, and escalation support to enable strong execution.
Build team capability through role clarity, skills development, and hiring support.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
DaytoDay Digital Delivery & Troubleshooting
Oversee daytoday digital operations, including publishing, campaign execution, updates, and issue resolution.
Serve as the escalation point for delivery risks, workflow breakdowns, and operational issues.
Diagnose problems quickly, maketradeoffs, and keep work moving.
Partner withTechnology,Product,Business, communications andengagement team,and Compliance to resolve issues pragmatically.
Change Management & Operational Improvement
Drive adoption of new workflows, tools, and operating practices.
Identifyinefficiencies, risk, and friction — and fix them.
Translate digital strategy into repeatable, scalable execution.
Lead operational change and ensure improvements stick.
Vendors & CrossFunctional Delivery
Own operational relationships with digital vendors and agencies.
Set expectations, manage performance, and resolvevendor issues
Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Technology, Analytics, and Compliance to support execution.
Communicate delivery performance, risks, and improvement plans to stakeholders.
Platforms, Data & Governance (Supporting Accountability)
Ensure digital workflows are supported by reliable CMS,MarTech, and analytics inputs.
Embed governance, compliance, and documentation standards into operational processes.
Partner with platform and analytics teams (this role is not a platform owner).
Defining KPIs, managing dashboards, and analyzing data to report on campaign performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
8+ years of experience in digital operations, digital delivery, or digital execution leadership
3+ years of direct people management with accountability for outcomes
Experience owning or evolving a digital operating model or delivery framework
Experience working in asset management, wealth, banking, or regulated financial services
Handson experience with:
CMS platforms
Digital workflow tools (Workfront preferred)
Vendorled delivery and service models
Strong crossfunctional leadership and stakeholder management skills
This Role Is Not a Fit If You Are Primarily a:
Business Analyst focused on requirements gathering
Product Owner managing backlogs and user stories
Platform architect or technical specialist without people leadership
Individual contributor without experience leading teams
Salary
$94,600.00 - $176,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
