GENERAL PURPOSE
The Director of Data Analytics provides data and analytics for better, faster, and more informed business decisions. This role partners closely with the technology team and business leaders to proactively deliver relevant data, insights, and visualizations that help business leaders operate and grow the business. This role helps the business anticipate trends, identify risks and opportunities early, translating data into actionable strategies that drive performance and growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partners with leaders and functional teams to understand key business decisions, priorities, and growth objectives.
  • Translates business questions into analytic frameworks that clearly inform trade‑offs, scenarios, and actions.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor, using data to challenge assumptions and elevate the quality of decision‑making.
  • Proactively delivers insights, not just reports, by identifying patterns, trends, and drivers of performance.
  • Develops intuitive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate performance, risks, and opportunities at the right altitude for business partners.
  • Moves beyond lagging metrics by providing leading indicators that predict outcomes and guide early intervention.
  • Enables teams to track progress toward business goals using fact‑based insights tied to financial and operational results.
  • Supports growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for revenue expansion, margin improvement, customer behavior shifts, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborates with data, technology, and governance teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Advocates for high‑quality data foundations that enable self‑service insights while maintaining trust and rigor.
  • Balances speed and precision, ensuring insights are timely and decision‑ready.
  • Leads a high‑performing analytics team with strong technical and analytical skills.
    Works with the technology Data team to ensure continuous improvements in data quality.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working with data & analytics teams in high-performance environments
  • 5+ years of management experience
