
As a critical member of the People Analytics Decision Support team, the Director, HR Analytics and Insights role will lead the development of Human Resources (HR) data foundations, analytic solutions and prioritized research requests that inform strategic workforce decisions for our key stakeholder groups. This role is responsible for advancing Fidelity’s use of HR data and tools to advance our people-related strategies and decision-making processes.
The Experience and Skills You Bring
Extensive data analytics experience, with demonstrated ability to build strong data foundations and deliver relevant analytic tools/views/products for leadership and Business Unit HR stakeholders
You have a broad and in-depth understanding of workforce data and related business needs that enable you to recommend innovative solutions
You are able to engage on a wide range of stakeholder needs and levels of complexity, ask the right questions, and identify the right insights and solutions for the business.
Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
Proven track-record of strong relationship management, with a particular affinity to taking a consultative approach to partnering with stakeholders
Product ownership mindset with the ability to influence key partners & stakeholders
Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop more junior team members to ensure we improve our ability to deliver key strategies, analytics, and operations outcomes
Expertise in working with relevant data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Excel, Qualtrics, SQL, other query tools, PowerPoint etc.
Experienced at ensuring presentations and other deliverables are 'executive ready'
Comfort meeting with and presenting to leaders to review data findings, summarize key points and dig into detail when necessary

Data Analytics Platform and Solutions Lead
Serve as team lead on data product and solution efforts, including ensuring high quality data foundations that enable us to innovate and use data and technology to advance people analytics frontiers
Manage the delivery of analytics projects, including leading our most complex analytics, and drive the team’s growth in reporting, insights, and storytelling capability
Partner closely with our stakeholders in the HR organization to develop a clear understanding of their needs and lead solutions to meet these needs
Serve as a coach and mentor to more junior analysts on the team in helping them to deliver on the team’s work outcomes
Ensure the team is working efficiently by leading effective routines, defining work at the right level to enable execution, and fostering a productive, positive, and meaningful team culture.
Define and implement solutions to ensure ongoing governance of self-service tools
Workforce Insights and Consulting
Build stakeholder relationships with HR and business leadership. Understand their needs and bring relevant analytics and data-based solutions to to improve their decision making and workforce management ability.
Utilize and build your depth of Fidelity workforce knowledge to identify insights for business and HR leaders.
Develop and deliver presentations that communicate key findings to HR and business leadership and engage questions and opportunities for further understanding.
Partner closely with HR leadership to deliver insights to the Wealth Senior Leadership Team and their leadership tables
Business Analytics and Insights
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
