Molex is seeking a Director, Customer Success to lead the Customer Success organization for our Optical Connectivity Group. This leader will build the capabilities, operating practices, and cross-functional alignment needed to deliver consistent outcomes for strategic global customers.


You will lead a team of Customer Success Managers and work closely with Sales, Product Line Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Program Management. Through proactive risk management, disciplined execution, and trusted customer relationships, you will help protect customer commitments and enable profitable growth.


Location This is an onsite role based at our office in Lisle, IL.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Success Managers supporting strategic global customers.
  • Establish scalable Customer Success practices, operating rhythms, and measures that strengthen accountability and consistency across customer-facing teams.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer leaders and ensure customer priorities, expectations, and risks are understood across Molex.
  • Partner across Sales, Product Line Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Program Management to translate customer commitments into coordinated execution.
  • Improve forecasting, vendor-managed inventory, inventory health, delivery performance, and supply continuity through data-driven decision-making and cross-functional alignment.
  • Anticipate customer and operational risks, establish mitigation plans, and ensure appropriate leadership engagement before issues affect customer trust.
  • Champion the voice of the customer and use customer insights and performance measures to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and profitable growth.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leading a Customer Success, strategic account management, program management, supply chain, operations, or related team
  • People leadership experience with responsibility for developing customer-facing or cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing complex strategic customer relationships in a manufacturing, engineering, electronics, connectivity, or technology environment
  • Experience establishing cross-functional operating practices, governance, and performance measures
  • Experience working across commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain functions
  • Experience working with customers and internal teams in a global environment
  • Ability to support global teams, including participating in meetings outside standard business hours when required

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting Tier 1 hyperscale or other complex global customers
  • Experience with demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, vendor-managed inventory, or supply chain operations
  • Experience using SAP, Teamcenter, Kinaxis, or similar enterprise systems
  • Experience using data, analytics, or artificial intelligence to improve forecasting, operational execution, or customer outcomes
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams

For this role, we anticipate paying $160,000 - $200,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
