The opportunity

In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the India marketing strategy to meet the business’ goals for the Digital route to market covering flagship products like Adobe Photoshop, Firefly and Acrobat. As an innovative marketing leader, with a deep understanding of the Indian market and a passion for driving marketing excellence in a competitive environment, you will shape the future of digital marketing in India and are pivotal to Adobe's continued growth in the Asia Pacific region.

What you’ll do

  • Set the vision and provide strategic marketing leadership for the Creativity & Productivity (C&P) portfolio in India.
  • Develop the marketing strategy, aligning cross-functionally to meet quarterly and annual targets including revenue, conversion, retention and ROMS.
  • Lead content creation for full-funnel marketing campaigns, managing creative agencies.
  • Adapt global strategies to the local market and capitalize on regional opportunities.
  • Build effective relationships with Go-to-Market, Product Marketing Management, Comms, A.com, Corporate Marketing and other functions to ensure the India marketing strategy is aligned and delivered effectively.
  • Set and communicate the cross-functional team’s marketing priorities, adapting and making necessary trade-offs.
  • Mange the marketing budget, working with Corporate and regional PMM to allocate across the product portfolio and manage spend to achieve targets.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing cross-functional team and cultivate a working environment aligned to Adobe’s values.
  • Oversee efforts to enhance and localize the Adobe brand for the India market, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance.
  • Influence the martech/infrastructure used internally to shape the future of Adobe and the industry.
  • Develop strategic partnerships for the C&P business unit in India collaborating with the Corp Partnerships team.
  • Play a key role in quarterly business and marketing reviews, defining the ‘narrative’ for India and influencing the Executive team including the India SVP and Country Manager to again agreement on strategic shifts and trade-offs.
  • Establish meaningful regional targets to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs, gaining agreement from Corporate.
  • Use data analytics and market insights to identify key drivers for growth and optimization.

What you need to succeed

  • Demonstrated track record of working in a global marketing organization as well as “matrixed” functions to deliver more than double digital growth. Excellent project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.
  • 15+ years of marketing leadership experience in B2C, in software or a technology related field.
  • Deep understanding of the digital marketing (including social & influencer) and media landscape in India with a customer-first approach.
  • Strong understanding of digital business models and demonstrated impact creating and launching initiatives to drive conversion, paid member value expansion and increase customer engagement and retention.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments, rapidly anticipating and adapting to shifting priorities with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills, showing strength in motivating a team to exceed goals.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies focused on outcomes.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills (verbal and written) in English. Fluent Hindi. Additional local languages highly desirable.
  • Ability to engage and manage culturally diverse team members cross-functionally. Proven success in influencing executives, VP and/or “C” level.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe products desirable.
