About the Team:
The Corporate Communications team is responsible for how UKG communicates with employees, customers, investors, media, and the broader market. We help bring our strategy to life through clear messaging, compelling storytelling, and coordinated execution. This role joins a team focused on scaling impact, strengthening alignment, and building the operating foundation that enables world-class communications across a global organization.

About the Role:
The Director, Corporate Communications - Operations is responsible for building and managing the "operating system" for the Corporate Communications function. This role serves as the strategy and operations partner to the Chief Communications Officer (CCO), ensuring the organization delivers high-impact communication with consistency, discipline, and scalability. This leader establishes the structures, processes, and systems that enable communications strategy to thrive—ensuring that all team efforts, from global campaigns to major company events, are effectively prioritized, resourced, executed, and measured against company priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy Integration & Program Management:

  • Lead the development and evolution of the Corporate Communications annual strategy, ensuring objectives and KPIs are aligned to company priorities
  • Own the program management of high-impact, large-scale communications initiatives, including global campaigns, product launches, and major company events
  • Drive strong cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, HR, and Global Business Operations from intake through execution

Resourcing & Operational Architecture:

  • Define and manage the Corporate Communications resourcing model, balancing internal headcount, agency support, and vendor partnerships
  • Establish and continuously optimize planning, intake, and prioritization processes to ensure focus on the highest-impact initiatives
  • Serve as the primary prioritization lead, aligning team capacity and execution to enterprise priorities

Performance, Insights & Data Strategy:

  • Develop and maintain a Communications scorecard to track performance, measure impact, and inform decision-making
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for the CCO and executive leadership team
  • Own the Communications analytics and insights capability, including reporting infrastructure, data modeling, and performance analysis

Systems & AI Enablement:

  • Own the Communications technology roadmap, advancing the function from manual and siloed workflows to a more integrated and scalable infrastructure
  • Implement standardized workflows and tools that improve efficiency, visibility, and execution across the function
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions to streamline processes and enhance team productivity

Strategic Bandwidth Management & Operating Rhythm:

  • Act as the central intake point for communications requests, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and effective use of team capacity
  • Develop and manage a communications calendar and operating rhythm to track and report on major initiatives and milestones
  • Partner closely with the CCO and Executive Assistant to align leadership priorities, time allocation, and team execution
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Director or Sr. Manager in strategy & operations inside of a corporate communications team
  • Background working within a technology organization, SAAS preferred
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional programs, operating models, or large-scale communications initiatives while influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience translating data into actionable, executive-level insights
  • Experience designing and implementing operating processes, workflows, and team cadences
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, including C-level stakeholders
  • Experience with communications or marketing technology platforms and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and process transformation initiatives

The pay range for this position is $163,900 to $235,550 The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
