Job Description

The Director, Content Hub is a strategic enterprise leadership role responsible for designing, operationalizing, and scaling centralized content and omnichannel activation function across all species, regions, and markets within Animal Health. This leader will drive the transformation of the enterprise Content Hub operating model, including content governance, content lifecycle management, agency and vendor model optimization, centralized content factory production, omnichannel activation, DAM/library quality management, and performance measurement to enable faster, more effective, and scalable customer engagement.
Reporting to the Customer Engagement Lead, this role partners closely with Global Marketing Species Teams, Regional Customer Engagement Teams, Regional and Local Marketing & Commercial Operations teams, Launch Excellence, IT, Procurement, Legal/Regulatory, and external agencies to simplify how work gets done while improving speed-to-market, content reuse, operational efficiency, and customer engagement outcomes.
The position requires both strategic vision to define enterprise-wide content supply chain transformation and hands-on expertise to operationalize content and omnichannel activation models. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise from animal health, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries where content compliance, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration are mission-critical.

Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Content Hub Strategy & Transformation
• Define and operationalize enterprise-wide Content Hub strategy across all species portfolios.
• Establish scalable global frameworks that standardize content creation, reuse, localization, PMR approval, and channel activation.
• Lead evolution toward a modern content supply chain focused on speed, modularity, personalization, and omnichannel engagement.
• Serve as strategic advisor to global and regional commercial leadership on content effectiveness and future-state capabilities.

Content Governance & Operational Standards
• Lead enterprise content governance including content policies, standards, workflows, and operating procedures across species, regions and markets.
• Establish scalable PMR review and approval processes balancing compliance, quality, speed, and localization.
• Drive operational simplification and harmonization across global, regional, and local teams.
• Ensure compliant execution through partnership with Legal, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Compliance, and technical stakeholders.
• Implement content quality initiatives including style guides, templates, accessibility requirements, and editorial governance frameworks.

Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Content Library Administration
• Owns day to day administration of content libraries and drives standards for content discoverability, reuse, archival, metadata quality, and digital rights management.
• Define and manage content taxonomy, metadata standards, tagging strategies, and lifecycle management processes.
• Ensure content libraries support content tagging, classification, version control, archiving and retirement processes.
• Partner with Martech / CRM team and IT teams to evolve DAM / Library integrations across CRM and marketing technology ecosystems.

Centralized Content Factory Operations
• Lead centralized content factory model for derivative content re-use, adaptation, localization, modular assembly, production and omnichannel asset deployment.
• Oversee enterprise content and channel operational workflows supporting email, web, eCommerce, social, digital media, and sales enablement channels.
• Establish vendor SLAs, intake models, prioritization frameworks, and capacity planning.
• Evaluate and optimize vendor partner models including global agencies, offshore hubs, and regional execution partners.

Agency & Vendor Management
• Lead enterprise agency governance and optimization across creative, localization, digital activation, and omnichannel execution partners.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and specialists ensuring delivery quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
• Partner with Procurement and Finance to centralize agency strategy, drive value realization, and improve spend transparency.
• Define standards for agency onboarding, operating models, ways of working, KPIs and governance.
• Lead strategic evaluation of global versus regional versus local agency capabilities and partner rationalization opportunities.
• Oversee vendor selection, contracting, SLAs, and performance reviews in partnership with procurement and marketing.

Omnichannel Activation & Channel Distribution
• Lead global omnichannel activation operations supporting coordinated customer engagement.
• Coordinate content activation plans with channel owners including digital, social, field, sales enablement, and brand teams to ensure assets are localized, compliant, and optimized.
• Drive adoption of enterprise tools, templates, standards, and engagement models.
• Measure content and campaign performance and use insights for iterative improvements to enable connected omnichannel experiences.

Value Realization & Performance Management
• Define and operationalize enterprise Content Hub KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and value realization frameworks measuring content reuse rates, speed-to-market, production cycle times, agency efficiencies, omnichannel effectiveness, adoption metrics, operational cost savings, and customer engagement performance.
• Establish executive reporting and governance mechanisms communicating progress, ROI, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, efficiency, scalability, and user experience through performance analytics and automation.

Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing global organization including content excellence specialists, DAM/Library administrators, agency leads, channel activation specialists, and external partners.
• Foster culture focused on innovation, accountability, operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Champion change management and organizational adoption across complex global matrix organization.

Required Qualifications
The Director, Content Hub requires a comprehensive blend of educational credentials, operational leadership experience, technical platform expertise, and stakeholder management capabilities to drive enterprise-scale content transformation.

Minimum education required :
o Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications, information management, library science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Required experience and skills:
o 10 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial operations, digital marketing operations, content management, or omnichannel engagement.
o At least 3 years leading multidisciplinary teams in enterprise-scale environments.
o Proven experience leading content operations or supply chain transformations within animal health, pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated industries.
Technical Expertise:
o Deep hands-on experience with platforms such as DAM, CMS, Veeva, Adobe, Salesforce or similar systems strongly preferred.
o Understanding of AI-enabled content operations, content reuse strategies, and next-generation supply chain capabilities.
Operational Leadership:
o Demonstrated ability to manage global agency ecosystems, production operations, and omnichannel activation models.
o Strong understanding of content lifecycle management, modular content frameworks, localization workflows, and review/approval processes in regulated environments.
o Proven track record managing operating budgets for content production, technology licenses, and external agencies with ROI measurement.
Stakeholder Management:
o Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills including experience working with marketing, operations, regulatory, legal, reviewers and IT in highly regulated industries.
o Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership capabilities.
o Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise transformation, operational simplification, and measurable business outcomes across complex matrixed organizations.

The salary range for this role is

$190,800.00 - $300,300.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
