Bosch Management Consulting (BMC/IC) is the internal management consultancy of the Bosch Group. We focus on strategic in-house projects that drive the effective transformation and continued development of our businesses within Bosch. Our consulting teams support senior management within the Bosch Group on strategic, organizational, and operational topics and help improve the business performance of our customers substantially and sustainably.

At BMC/IC, you work in cross-functional teams in close collaboration with our internal customers on complex projects and provide impactful and tailored solutions for top management across the Bosch Group. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead consulting projects or take responsibility for critical workstreams within complex M&A, Post-Merger Integration (PMI), and carve-out programs.
  • Scope consulting engagements jointly with the responsible Partner and customer and ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Drive Post-Merger Integration initiatives with a focus on integration governance, Day-One readiness, synergy realization, and target operating model implementation.
  • Support carve-out situations, including pre-transaction studies, Transition Service Agreement (TSA) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiations, as well as Sign-to-Close activities.
  • Support operational due diligence and integration readiness assessments as part of strategic M&A transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of integration and separation programs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in M&A operations.
  • Prepare and present detailed analyses, recommendations, and decision materials to senior management and executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • several years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate development, transaction advisory, M&A integration, or related environments.
  • Experience in both management consulting and industrial environments is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in Post-Merger Integration (PMI), carve-outs, separation management, and/or M&A transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of M&A processes across the transaction lifecycle, including operational due diligence, integration planning, Day-One readiness, synergy realization, and separation management.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and/or critical workstreams in international and cross-functional environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a deep understanding of business operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of analytical tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent team player, self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude and strong customer orientation.
  • Fluent in English and German.
