Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Select, contract with, and oversee architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialty consultants.
  • Serve as primary organizational point of contact for construction-related vendors and partners.
  • Ensure vendor performance aligns with contractual obligations, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Financial & Contract Oversight
  • Develop and manage capital project budgets in collaboration with Finance and senior leadership.

  • Track financial performance and provide regular reporting on budget status and forecasts.
Regulatory, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including building codes, life safety, ADA, OSHA, and healthcare-specific requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet clinical, operational, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee construction site safety practices and compliance with organizational policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Clinical, Operations, IT, Facilities, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure projects align with organizational and clinical needs.
  • Provide clear communication, status updates, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Support long-term growth strategies through scalable facility planning and design standards.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare construction and design of medical office development, including a minimum of 3 years in outpatient clinical environments.
  • PMP, LEED AP, and/or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certification strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-site construction projects.

About Tryon Medical Partners

As an independent practice, the difference is personal.

The physicians of Tryon Medical Partners joined forces because we share a core belief: the patient-doctor connection is the foundation for better health. This is the reason we are an independent practice. It allows us to remain true to our principles, while delivering better care rooted in stronger relationships.

What are the benefits of choosing an independent practice?

Value – We are able to practice medicine and conduct business nimbly and efficiently, with fewer layers of bureaucracy in our way – or our patients’.

Transparency – As a leaner organization, we are in direct contact with our patients and partners. Keeping it personal means serving with integrity and accountability.

Choice – In the changing world of healthcare, consolidation has become the new normal, and options are shrinking. We created an independent practice because we believe more choices should be available to everyone. Better health comes from having more than a healthcare provider. It takes a healthcare partner.
