Job Description

Plans and directs human resources programs relating to global compensation and benefits including policies, objectives and initiatives, and the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of these programs. Plans and directs all aspects of the organization’s human resources information system. Develops implements and maintains the human resources information system to meet organizational needs and objectives. Assures that company compensation and benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the philosophy, business strategy, research, design, communication and overall management of the organization’s compensation and benefits
• Provide advice and counsel to Sales and RFP team regarding prospective client compensation and benefit issues such as SCA wage and fringe rates; client installation issues such as benefit waiting periods, 401k loans, grandfathering of PTO time
• Develop and provide training to Operations and Sales regarding various topics such as off cycle increase policies and procedures, FLSA regulations
• Provide side by side benefit comparisons between our benefits and client benefits to assist with implementation or acquisition of new

• Evaluates and makes recommendations to revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Recommends and advises on global benefit enhancements and

• Assures company compliance with all regulations concerning group health and welfare and compensation programs. Reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and compensation, and reports necessary or suggested changes. • Acts as an adviser to human resources and other management staff and professionals on difficult issues concerning benefits, compensation or information reporting. Provides guidance and assistance to the Regional Human Resources Representatives, managers, and employees, on various employee benefit plans and issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge required
• Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in benefits, compensation and HRIS
• Minimum of 10 years progressive Human Resources experience with a minimum of 3 years in management
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Presentation Software
• Advanced knowledge of HR Database programs
• Advanced report writing skills
