Job Description

The Transformation Director is responsible for overseeing Contrast Media programs and facilitating segment activities including launching a lighthouse new product, managing multiple projects and workstreams that span across various departments. This role ensures strategic alignment across the organization, drives cross-functional collaboration, and prioritizes resources to meet launch and project timelines. The Director focuses on the overall success of the program, ensuring that all individual projects are well-coordinated and contribute to the larger objectives. This role is outcome-accountable, not “advice-giving” and is driven on overseeing commercial rigor and managing large and dynamic organizational transformations.

This role partners closely with senior commercial and franchise leadership to translate strategy into repeatable field execution, accelerate revenue growth and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that will remove structural or other barriers to commercial success. This is a highly visible, hands-on and outcomes driven leadership role with accountability for both near-term performance impact and longer-term commercial scalability.

Aligned Responsibilities:

Launch Excellence & Franchise Protection

  • Program Leadership: Oversee the entire product launch program, ensuring coordination of multiple cross-functional projects (marketing, regulatory, medical, supply chain, sales) to deliver on strategic goals. 

  • Strategy into Field Execution: Responsible for driving sales execution excellence, performance discipline and strategic initiative delivery for high growth business. Translate strategy into repeatable field execution, accelerate revenue growth and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that will remove structural or other barriers to commercial success in connection with our S&OP and S&OE process.

  • Responsible for developing and managing cross functional, technology led, or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors, suppliers, customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule, budget, and tollgate process for NPI, requisition, or sustaining programs.

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure the program’s objectives align with broader corporate goals, managing stakeholder expectations and providing regular updates to senior leadership. 

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Leads with authority, facilitates collaboration between functional leaders to ensure resource prioritization and timely decision-making.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the launch timeline or program success.  Manages ambiguity and competing priorities.

  • Program Governance: Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistent reporting, decision-making, and project execution across all workstreams. 

  • Resource Allocation: Work with department heads to ensure the necessary resources are allocated across projects and that there is sufficient prioritization. 

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the overall program, ensuring all projects are on track and meet launch milestones.  This role owns outcomes, not just tasks.

  • Stakeholder Management: Leads with authority and communicates program status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability across the organization. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Science, Engineering or a related field, PMP or similar certification preferred.

  • 8+ years of formal project management training and execution, preferable in med tech, life science or pharma launches. 

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, including regulatory and market access environments. 

  • Experience co-leading large scale product launches and cross-functional leadership with commercial execution

  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing across functions. In complex environments.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Hands-on leadership style-needs to be able to lead and build concurrently and can deep-dive while shaping vision

  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide strategic projects

For
U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $164,000.00-$246,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
