Purpose:

To support in the development, implementation, and management of the Franchise A strategies and to facilitate the governance and business alignment with the alliances JBI and Genmab.

Job responsibilities:

  • The commercial strategy director reports directly to the Vice president of Franchise A and is a member of the franchise leadership team.
  • Develops Business plans that incorporate long and short-range strategic planning, works closely with the Finance Director and the rest of the leadership on these plans. Structures strategic planning sessions.
  • Coordinates content for leadership team governance and develops Staff agenda.
  • Coordinates internal communications and culture efforts with functional leadership and PA team – including Franchise A Townhalls and dynamic communication efforts.
  • Plays an essential role in the management of critical projects as defined by the business.
  • Supports VP in important interactions and alignment with the 2 alliances to enhance efficiencies and agility in decision-making. This includes:
    • Collaborating on key co-commercialization projects and capability builds
    • Assist in VP preparation for multiple Leadership Alignment meetings, JCCs, JSCs, etc.
  • Plays leading role in emerging Franchise A portfolio management – field communication conduit and cadence, prioritization of BU1 assets and indications as examples.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Proven interpersonal and negotiation skills to develop and maintain successful and healthy partnerships.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking for conflict resolution; risk management; organizational alignment and demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with legal and contractual governance. Experience working with external partners preferred.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally.
  • Willingness to be accountable for all aspects of the alliance partnership.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
