JOB PURPOSE

The Director, Commercial & Partnerships Development leads the development and structuring of commercial and partnership arrangements that support QHC’s business development priorities. Reporting to the Executive — Business Development, the role develops commercial and partnership requirements, leads partner engagement and sourcing, and develops partnership propositions, commercial models and contracting requirements for priority opportunities.

This is a Day-1 role because priority commercial and partnership opportunities require early market engagement, structured evaluation and sufficient lead time to develop and secure. Establishing these capabilities early supports QHC’s commercial and partnership development agenda.

The role works across the leadership team, the Qiddiya ecosystem and external stakeholders to build a partnership pipeline, structure commercial and contractual arrangements, govern partner obligations, and coordinate brand and launch activity that positions QHC in the market.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Partnership Strategy & Pipeline Development

• Develop partner requirements and shape partnership and commercial priorities aligned with QHC's clinical, operational and growth priorities.
• Build and manage a prioritized pipeline of partnership and commercial opportunities across sports, healthcare, payer, technology and ecosystem partners.
• Identify and evaluate new commercial and partnership models and develop recommendations for leadership review.

1. Partner Engagement, Sourcing & Deal Origination

• Lead partner identification, engagement and sourcing, representing QHC with credibility to external partners and stakeholders.
• Originate and progress priority partnership opportunities, leading partner engagement, evaluation, negotiation preparation and follow-up through to agreement.

1. Commercial Structuring & Contracting

• Develop and structure commercial arrangements, commercial models and contracting requirements, ensuring deals are commercially sound and operationally deliverable.
• Coordinate contracting, obligations and commercial structuring in partnership with legal, finance and relevant functions.
• Develop commercial terms and recommendations that protect QHC’s interests and align with relevant service and partnership requirements.

1. Partner Management

• Track partner obligations and deliverables ensuring commitments on both sides are met.
• Coordinate partner governance, performance monitoring, issue resolution and escalation for active partnerships.
• Maintain the partner and contract register and report on partnership performance.

1. Ecosystem & Stakeholder Relationships

• Develop and manage commercial and partnership relationships across the Qiddiya ecosystem and with relevant external partners.
• Coordinate with QIC and ecosystem partners to leverage shared opportunities and avoid duplication.
• Act as a key relationship point for priority commercial and partnership stakeholders.

1. Brand, Marketing & Launch Coordination

• Coordinate brand, awareness and launch communications in partnership with marketing and communications, given QHC's reputational exposure.
• Ensure partnership and commercial activity is aligned with and supportive of QHC's brand and market positioning.
• Support go-to-market and launch milestones across the startup phase.

1. Commercial Performance & Revenue Growth

• Contribute to QHC's revenue growth, service monetization and competitive positioning through partnerships and commercial arrangements.
• Provide commercial input to business cases, pricing and new service-line development.
• Track and report commercial and partnership KPIs to leadership.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Law, or a related field is required. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

8+ Years of progressive experience in commercial, partnerships, business development or deal-making roles, including experience in developing commercial models, structuring partnership opportunities and supporting complex negotiations and contracting and managing senior external relationships.

Demonstrated experience in partnership development and commercial structuring, ideally within healthcare, sports, entertainment, government / semi-government or large ecosystem-based environments. External credibility with senior stakeholders is essential.

Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management capability, with working knowledge of the Saudi market and Vision 2030 context. Experience developing investment cases, commercial models and contracting requirements is highly desirable.
