General Description:

Reporting to the LATAM leadership, the Business Director is accountable for maximizing business performance across Region North – LATAM. The region operates under a Hub-and-Spoke model, with Colombia as the hub supporting the spoke markets of Peru, Ecuador, and CENCA. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, the role provides strategic and operational leadership across Sales, Marketing, Sales Effectiveness, Market Intelligence, Market Access, and Training, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment, operational excellence, effective stakeholder engagement, and compliant execution. The Business Director also oversees distributor performance in Spoke markets.

Essential Functions:

  • Define and execute Region North commercial strategy aligned with global priorities.
  • Lead premarketing, launch, and lifecycle strategies for BeOne products.
  • Oversee P&L, forecasting, and annual brand planning.
  • Lead the KAM team, including sales force sizing, deployment, segmentation, targeting, KPIs, and incentive design.
  • Ensure marketing excellence through omnichannel initiatives and cross-functional coordination.
  • Drive Sales Effectiveness, analytics, dashboards, and insights for business decisions.
  • Oversee training, capability building, and scientific upskilling across commercial teams.
  • Build strong partnerships with KOLs, oncology societies, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Act as the local Business lead, representing BeOne at the Pharma Association in Colombia.
  • Own the most senior relationships with government officials, payers and lobbyists, and leverage these to impact on regulatory and legislative developments in the most favorable manner.
  • Ensure compliant execution aligned with ethical, patient-focused standards.

Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:

  • University degree in Business, Science, or related field; postgraduate preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years in pharma/biotech; at least 5 years in senior commercial roles.
  • Mandatory experience in Oncology
  • Proven ability to lead Sales, Marketing, Access, and cross-functional teams.

Other Experience:

• Strong knowledge of the oncology landscape in Region North.

• Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• High motivation, resilience, and collaborative spirit.

• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct leadership of Sales, Marketing, Sales Effectiveness, Market Intelligence, Access, and Training teams.

Travel:

  • Willingness to travel (~20–30%).

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytics tools.
