The Director of Collaborations & Special Projects will be responsible for operationalizing and ensuring execution of impactful Enterprise and Private Brand Collaborations and Private Brand Special Projects with precision, lead effective cross functional collaboration, and drive alignment across a fast-paced merchandising organization.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Vision & Opportunity Identification:
    • Identify strategic whitespace opportunities that enhance our brand's cultural relevance, brand love, and new customer acquisition.
    • Continuously monitor global trends, cultural shifts, and emerging voices across fashion, design, art, music, and entertainment to inform future initiatives.
    • Translate market insights into actionable strategies for compelling collaborations.
  • Framework Development & Project Management:
    • Build and implement a robust framework for end-to-end project management specific to collaborations and special projects.
    • Manage strategic projects from inception to completion, meticulously tracking timelines, deliverables, and critical paths to ensure successful and on-time execution.
    • Manage budgets and internal resources effectively to deliver high-impact campaigns with a positive return on investment (ROI).
  • End-to-End Collaboration & Initiative Leadership:
    • Lead the entire lifecycle of collaborations and special projects, from initial concept development, contract negotiation, and all touchpoints across all cross functional teams through final launch.
    • Ensure seamless execution of all collaboration launches and special projects by driving clear communication, shared understanding, and alignment across all stakeholders.
    • Act as a central point of contact and facilitator, resolving challenges and fostering a cohesive working environment.
    • Drive comprehensive marketing and launch execution plans in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Private Brand Special Projects
    • Build and Implement Private Brand Colleague and Stores Education
    • Lead Entire Lifestyle of Private Brand Special Projects such as partnerships with FIT and FSF
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
    • Ideally, 5-plus years of experience in retail, buying or an experience in an online and ecommerce merchandising environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills (oral, written and listening) for a variety of audiences.
  • This role involves performing essential job functions such as communication, collaboration, and use of office and computer systems. Responsibilities include the ability to access and review written and electronic information, and to move within the work environment and interact with workplace materials as needed to carry out job responsibilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
