Job Description

The Director, Change Enablement will be responsible leading the Change Enablement function. The goal of this team is to equip our employees to navigate, adapt and thrive through strategic business transformations and ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

This leader will be responsible for leading the change enablement function and driving the enterprise transformation change strategy. They will lead and improve the Acosta standard for change enablement and focus on growing competency within the organization to ultimately improve adoption, alignment, and engagement across the company.

The Director will manage a team a Change Enablement Leads that will collaborate with senior leaders, project teams, and cross-functional partners to design and execute comprehensive change management plans that aid in the delivery of the objectives of our strategic initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise change enablement strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, transformation objectives, and long-term business goals.
  • Establish and continuously refine enterprise-wide change enablement standards, methodologies, tools, adoption metrics and governance practices and drive a consistent approach across projects.
  • Oversee organizational readiness and adoption. Deliver executive-level insights on organizational readiness, adoption trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling informed decision-making and proactive intervention where required.
  • Own and lead the enterprise transformation communications strategy in partnership with Corporate Communications to foster readiness and engagement across the business.
  • Partner with your reports & program leaders to drive adoption, engagement, and business value realization, ensuring transformation initiatives achieve their intended organizational and operational outcomes.
  • Develop organizational change capability by equipping leaders, teams, and associates with the skills, knowledge, and practices needed to successfully lead and sustain change.
  • Build and develop a high performing team by establishing clear goals, accountability, development plans, and a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and results delivery.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and transformation teams, providing strategic guidance on organizational impacts, change strategies, stakeholder engagement, communications approaches, and resource planning for transformation projects.
  • Demonstrate the value of Change Enablement by connecting adoption outcomes to transformation success, business performance improvements, and realized value from enterprise investments.

Minimum Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a similar or related role
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Leading or supporting business transformation programs
  • Experience with large-scale organizational employee engagement and change efforts
  • Designing and executing enterprise-wide communications strategies
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and practical experience applying within large organizations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to develop and execute enterprise change strategies and adoption plans to deliver organizational value
  • Deep knowledge of organizational change management frameworks, and best practices including Prosci ADKAR
  • Assess organizational readiness and change risk.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, sponsorship, communications, training alignment, and resistance management and influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of enterprise transformation delivery models including PMO, Agile, Waterfall, product-based deliver
  • Knowledge of change measurement, adoption analytics, readiness assessments, value realization, and KPI development
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented while also focusing on the big picture
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Job may require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment weighing less than 15 pounds. This position involves viewing a computer monitor for more than 30% of the time.
