Driven Brands Finance and Accounting Team is looking for a Director, Cash and Revenue Accounting who wants to make a difference!
Reporting to theSr. Director – Corporate Accounting, this positionis responsible forleadingand overseeing the respectiveaccountingteams that performall accounting for thecash and revenue transactions
How you will Own it:
- Lead and inspire a multi-location group of accounting professionals
- Improve the overall accuracy and timeliness of accounting processes for all areas of responsibility, includingleading downstream through improvements in the preparation and reviewof:journalentries, account reconciliations,variance analyses, and supportutilizedin financial reporting activities, tax accounting activities, and support for internal/external auditors
- Remediate and work to actively prevent control deficiencies through improving requisite public company disciplines with other teams and departments in the end-to-end processes under responsibility
- Prepare and manage certainmonthly, quarterly, and annualreporting inputs, including government reporting processes
- Serve as a critical stakeholder fornumerousaudits performed in areas of responsibility
- Build foundational processes (including policies) thatleveragebest-in-class tools and technology available, while drivingcontinuous process improvements to ensure all information istimelyandaccurate
- While partnering with FP&A,demonstratedeep understanding of areas of responsibility to drive rapid improvement and ability to provide ad hoc reporting to management, tax, and financial reporting as needed
- Partner withupstream process stakeholders andFP&A to ensure that all financial information is deliveredin accordance withtimelines for analytical needs
- Special projects as assigned

Desired Education, ExperienceandCertifications:
- Bachelor’s degreerequired– Accounting and/or Finance;CPArequired
- Multi-currency and international company experiencepreferred
- U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls/SOXrequired
- Experience with securitized debt, significant compliance / management reporting,global tax reporting,and franchisees highly preferred
- Strong leadership, decisionmakingand technical skills
- Public company experiencerequired
- Public Accounting experiencestronglypreferred
- 10+ years' experiencerequired
- Ability to travel as needed, minimal travel anticipated
