The Role
The Fidelity Insurance Agency (FIA) provides annuity and life insurance solutions to help clients have more successful financial planning outcomes. As the Director of Carrier Management, you will work in close partnership with the incumbent leader to absorb institutional knowledge, understand historical context, and dynamically assume leadership of strategy, people, and operations while scaling our Fidelity Insurance Network (FIN). Your objective is:
Assume day‑to‑day leadership, management and operational responsibilities
Ensure workload management for 'run the business' responsibilities are accomplished on time and within budget
Engage with internal and external partners and vendors to support and facilitate Commercialization and Enterprise related projects and initiatives.
Lead the implementation of business requirements by helping to define and analyze system problems, crafting, and testing solutions with the Team.
Prioritize and identify application and system issues, improvements, and requests, research platform specs and confer with subject matter experts across FIA/FILI and the enterprise.
To handle Carrier and platform related risks and communicate these effectively to all levels of the organization.
To interact frequently with key contacts to attain feedback on existing applications & experiences to identify future opportunities for improvement.

Strong business knowledge of Financial Services, and preferably in Insurance and Annuities.
Bachelors or equivalent with 10 to 12+ years of experience, or primary degree with 8 to 10+ years of experience.

This role supports and provides analysis within the FIA/FILI organizations. We partner closely with other squads and platform leads who support the annuity business objectives.
