Job Description

Be part of an amazing story.

Macy’s is more than just a store. We’re a story. One that’s captured the hearts and minds of America for more than 160 years. A story about innovations and traditions…about inspiring stores and irresistible products…about the excitement of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, and the wonder of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. We’ve been part of memorable moments and milestones for countless customers and colleagues. Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work.

The Director, Campaign Management leads a portfolio of omnichannel marketing campaigns across the enterprise, driving measurable business results through integrated, customer-centric activations. This high-impact, high-visibility role requires a seasoned marketing operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Director oversees a team of 5–6 campaign managers and marketing specialists, ensuring operational excellence and cross-functional alignment across strategy, creative, brand, merchandising, digital, CRM, media, and analytics teams to translate business priorities into structured execution plans and deliver world-class campaigns that fuel brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Drive end-to-end campaign management, including planning, execution and optimization for assigned marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing goals.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of campaign managers and specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, problem-solving, innovation, and speed-to-market.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between marketing, merchandising, digital, creative, media, CRM, analytics, and executive leadership. Ensure campaigns are fully integrated, well-resourced, and on-track.
  • Establish and run program cadences including briefings, reviews and executive check-ins while maintaining dashboards and program summaries to communicate progress and escalate risks. Ensure consistency with PMO standards.
  • Own the campaign calendar and intake process. Identify bottlenecks and friction points. Use scalable processes and tools to manage hundreds of concurrent campaign components across multiple channels and teams.
  • Present campaign strategies, milestones, and results to senior leadership. Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.
