We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the performance and growth of our Western Australia Business and Project Development services. This role is accountable for the regional leadership of client relationships, project development services, and delivery contract pursuit and negotiation with a focus on achieving commercial and service delivery objectives.
You will lead, direct and co-ordinate regional objectives in the delivery of high-quality professional services across business development, studies, project proposals and tendering, with a strong focus on governance, client outcomes, risk management, orderbook growth, cost efficiency, and cash flow.
Working closely with the regional leadership team, and leaders from other global regions, you will ensure that growth created through business and development services are focused on client value and ensure the sustainable delivery of secured projects and operations.

Director Business & Project Development – Australia West will be accountable for:
Leading by example to create a culture focussed on client relationships, innovative solutions, and commercial discipline excellence.
Leading tactical planning for opportunity pursuit and negotiation to ensure the region achieves its order book growth targets premised on sustainable contracts and ensure the effective management and communication of regional pipeline and new work forecasts.
Shaping and prioritising market opportunities through strategic insight and data driven analysis, understand changing regional trends and developments, market opportunities, competitive threats and organisational capabilities, positioning the business for sustainable growth.
Leading regional collaboration and stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communication frameworks and driving business and project development optimisation across business units.
Ensuring the delivery of commercially competitive, high-quality tenders and overseeing contract negotiations in line with governance, risk appetite, and organisational objectives.
Working with other regional leaders to ensure the timely allocation of study management and engineering / technical resources to support service delivery.
Owning client strategy and work winning performance, strengthening key relationships, expanding market presence, and ensuring disciplined pursuit governance aligned with Group frameworks.
Ensuring a high-performance culture focused on disciplined commercial management of project development services, including cost, cash flow, schedule, quality, and contract administration excellence.
Providing visible leadership to foster a client focused, high performing, stable, and engaged business and project development team aligned with organisational values and goals.
