Job Description

Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Business Performance, the Director, Business Performance (Quebec) applies disciplined analytics and entrepreneurial insights to drive superior performance and business excellence across the organization focusing on Quebec value added manufactured products.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Leadership to drive margin expansion projects with Commercial and Operations teams
2. Collaborate with Commercial Sales and Marketing teams to manage and take decisions on prices, sales programs, promotions and product innovation to drive superior business results;
3. Work with Sales and Marketing leaders to develop pricing strategies and manage margins;
4. Apply relevant business insights and knowledge to generate sound decision making within the company’s Commercial activities;
5. Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance leaders to manage operating costs and drive operational excellence;
6. Use disciplined analysis, modeling and forecasting to inspire and drive superior performance;
7. Continuous Improvement of performance reporting and decision-making methodology to support the growing business.

Requirements:
1. 10 years plus experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
2. 5 years plus of progressive experience working is a director or senior manager role
3. Post-Secondary education in finance with an accounting designation, CPA or MBA is preferred
4. Demonstrated solid business acumen and sound decision making skills;
5. Thoroughness and attention to detail;
6. Travel required as per business need;
7. Collaboration in office in Montreal / Levis / Markham as needed and production facilities across Canada as required. Primary work location in Levis or Saint-Bruno.
