The Director of Business Intelligence owns the enterprise business intelligence strategy, reporting roadmap, and data governance framework for RBDC, ensuring analytics capabilities scale to support organizational growth and strategic decision-making. This position involves close collaboration with various departments to establish and refine performance metrics, ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are carefully selected and effectively monitored. The Director’s responsibilities include enhancing business processes across the organization to maximize efficiency, particularly by reducing non-productive field time.
Leading a team of analysts, the Director oversees the generation of a comprehensive suite of reports, including process-focused, tactical, and exploratory analyses, as well as national scorecards. These analytical tools are vital for the Sales, Talent, and Operations teams to monitor performance and propel the organization forward. In essence, the Director of Business Intelligence is instrumental in embedding data-driven insights into the core of the organization’s operational excellence and growth strategies. While reporting is the ‘day to day’ of the role, the next key element is to advance and elevate our current reporting systems and streamline reporting into automated reporting.
Lead a team of analysts to deliver strategic reports, insights, and analyses that drive informed decision-making.
Lead the evolution of RBDC's business intelligence architecture, including data governance, reporting platforms, cloud-based data environments, and self-service analytics capabilities.
Work together with RBNA Sales LT and reporting teams to ensure alignment between both companies reports and strategies.
Leverage expertise in Sales data landscape and systems (Trade Sales, Off Take, Customer Profitability Management, Financial Sales, Inventory, etc.) to generate cross-functional insights
Collaborate with each department to define the performance measuring methodology, including the selection of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the development of tracking mechanisms.
Ensure that our reporting suites strategically evolve to enhance distribution and sales in response to data and trends by evaluating current solutions and recommending innovative data solutions.
Lead Sales planning and KPI development
Lead a team of six analysts to deliver comprehensive, centralized process-related, tactical and exploratory sales reports, as well as national scorecards for Sales, Talent, and Operations.
Develop dashboards and self-service tools to provide visibility and standards by which ad-hoc requests are based.
Analyze and make recommendations for improved data quality and reporting system automation to support strategic initiatives.
Evaluate current reporting systems and streamline backend data connections to improve usability, scalability, and end-user adoption.
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - 173,000 + cash incentives.
