Job Description

You will personally prospect, pitch, and close new freight forwarding business across the Transpacific trade lane, owning your pipeline and hitting revenue targets as an individual contributor driving Visy’s accelerated growth.

  • Build and win a book of business across focus verticals on the transpacific trade lane
  • Own a personal revenue target, with strong, uncapped commission on every deal you close
  • Partner with owned offices in Asia to win new business across multiple industries

Role Details:

You will lead the growth of the transpacific trade lane, driving new business and delivering revenue across a range of logistics solutions. This is a high-activity, high-reward sales role for someone who thrives on the hunt, loves closing deals, and wants uncapped upside tied directly to what they win. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will be responsible for building pipeline, winning new opportunities, and expanding key accounts while working closely with global teams to deliver results across both domestic and international markets.

What you'll do:

  • Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across the transpacific trade lane
  • Build and manage strategic customer relationships to drive revenue growth and account expansion
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, converting opportunities into revenue
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to deliver competitive, customer focused logistics solutions
  • Monitor market trends and trade lane dynamics to identify risks and growth opportunities

What you will bring to the team:

A true business developer with a hunter mindset, comfortable building a pipeline from scratch and converting opportunities into revenue. You will bring a strategic mindset, global collaboration skills, and disciplined pipeline management to turn market insights into sustained growth. You will also bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding, with a strong focus on business development or strategic sales
  • Proven track record of winning new business and managing a portfolio of customers within the transpacific trade lane
  • Ability to leverage an existing network of customers and industry relationships to generate immediate and long-term revenue growth
  • Strong commercial acumen, with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within mid-sized logistics providers, with a solid understanding of trade lane dynamics and customer requirements
