JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Director Business Development is a strategic partner in driving revenue, expanding market share, and cultivating lasting customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Build and nurture customer relationships with new and existing clients to drive retention and growth.
▪ Create and execute customer capture strategies
▪ Collaborate with operations to develop tailored, winning proposals that exceed client expectations.
▪ Assist in developing RFP responses and negotiating contracts that align with company goals.
▪ Meet or exceed targets for revenue, new customer acquisition, and profit margins.
▪ Partner with leadership to define customer segments and execute strategies that unlock scalable growth.
▪ Communicate tactfully, skillfully and persuasively to negotiate new and renewals with customers
▪ Operate as a key contributor to a high-performance, cross-functional team culture built on trust, communication, positive energy, and execution

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
▪ Minimum of 5 years of proven progressive sales experience
▪ Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Communications preferred
▪ Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and quota achievement.
▪ Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally.
▪ Effective interpersonal skills
▪ Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, World),
▪ Travel 30-50% based on business needs, team support and customer requirements
