As a Business Development Director, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of strategic and commercially impactful advice to customers across the energy, resources and chemicals sectors. You will be responsible for cultivating customer relationships, shaping and executing complex execution strategies, and contributing to the growth of our business.

Principal Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & Market Development

·Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

·Identify emerging markets, trends, and opportunities within the Energy, Chemical and Resources sectors.

·Build and maintain a robust pipeline of projects and clients.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

·Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.

·Lead negotiations and secure high-value contracts.

·Ensure exceptional client experience and long-term engagement.

Collaboration & Leadership

·Partner with leadership, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align proposals with client needs.

·Provide leadership and mentorship to BD team.

·Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Financial & Commercial Management

·Develop pricing strategies and commercial models for projects.

·Monitor market competitiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.

·Achieve revenue and profitability targets.

What you will bring


🔍 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in business development within EPC or related engineering industries.

  • Proven track record of securing large-scale projects and managing complex negotiations.

  • Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle and commercial frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
