
The Director, BU Flagship & Network Strategy leads salon channel strategy, planning, and performance across Flagship and Network channels. This role translates brand and commercial priorities into actionable plans that drive growth, elevate client experience, and strengthen brand equity. Flagship salons serve as brand showcases and test-and-learn environments for scalable network strategies.
Channel Strategy & Business Planning
• Develop salon channel strategy aligned to brand and BU objectives
• Translate annual plans into clear Flagship and Network priorities
• Track performance, risks, KPIs, forecasting, and long-range planning with Sales and Finance
Trade Marketing & Go-To-Market Execution
• Lead Trade Marketing and go-to-market strategy aligned to brand priorities
• Translate launches and campaigns into scalable in-salon activation plans
• Partner across Marketing, Education, Creative, and Flagship teams to pilot, refine, and deploy initiatives
Flagship Strategy & Integration
• Align Flagship performance, operations, and client experience with BU strategy
• Ensure Flagship salons deliver premium brand standards and differentiated experiences
• Translate Flagship insights into broader network recommendations
Consumer Experience & Brand Execution
• Champion a consistent, consumer-centric salon experience
• Partner on client engagement, events, loyalty, and service innovation
• Monitor trends and translate brand initiatives into the salon environment
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as liaison across Sales, Marketing, Education, Digital, Finance, and Operations
• Drive alignment and represent salon channel needs in BU and brand planning
• Support integrated cross-functional initiatives
Organizational Capability & Development
• Build salon channel capability with leadership and Education
• Foster accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
• Partner on organizational planning and talent development
• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in salon, beauty, or service-based industries
• Experience in strategy, trade marketing, sales, or operations within a multi-unit or field organization
• Strong understanding of salon channel dynamics, including PRO, retail, and education
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and drive cross-functional execution
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting and performance management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
