Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in sales or business development in the technology sector.
  • 10 years of experience selling Cloud IT solutions.
  • 10 years of experience leading and managing sales teams.
  • 5 years of experience in developing and executing sales strategies within the Digital Native or startup ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience managing managers, and scaling larger sales organizations.
  • Experience in a hyperscale growth environment, rapidly building and scaling sales teams and revenue.
  • Experience developing and executing cross-functional go-to-market strategies, collaboration with marketing, partner alliances, and customer engineering.
  • Deep understanding of the Brazilian Digital Native ecosystem, including relationships with Venture Capital firms, incubators, and key market players.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to engage in architectural discussions related to cloud-native technologies and SaaS.

As the Director of Google Cloud Brazil, you'll have a highly visible leadership role in a fast-growing, quick-moving area of Google’s business. You will drive the team to meet and exceed business growth goals while driving customer satisfaction. You will have an understanding of the technology of Google’s solutions in the enterprise space, and bring an operational approach to recruiting, coaching, and managing your team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage entrepreneurial talents, and will run the business autonomously while leveraging where the group fits into the broader organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a sales organization focused on strategic Digital Native accounts, managing sales leaders and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Lead the end-to-market (GTM) strategy for the Digital Native segment in Brazil, defining sales plays, and adapting global strategies for local hyper-growth.
  • Drive sales performance to meet and exceed targets for revenue, bookings, and customer satisfaction, instilling operational accuracy in pipeline management.
  • Engage at the executive level to build strong C-level relationships within top accounts and personally lead support for strategic agreements. Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to leverage the "One Google" ecosystem and deliver compelling, seamless customer solutions.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the Digital Native ecosystem, competitive trends, and key players, representing Google Cloud as a market thought leader.
