Responsible for overseeing the delivery of behavioral health services, ensuring quality care and compliance with regulatory standards. Develops and implements strategies to enhance service offerings, manage operational efficiency, and support patient-centered care. Works closely with clinical teams, the BH vendor, and leadership to align behavioral health programs with MGB Health Plan's mission and goals.
Essential Functions
-Oversee behavioral health functions of MGB Health Plan, which includes oversight of the BH vendor and the provider network
-Provide leadership and direction for the behavioral health services department, ensuring high-quality patient care.
-Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
-Manage departmental budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
-Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of behavioral health staff.
-Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
-Establish partnerships with community organizations and external agencies to enhance behavioral health services and patient access.
-Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, as well as hospital policies and accreditation requirements.
